Welcome to Congenital Heart Center
Our goal is to provide the best possible care for infants, children, and adults with all forms of congenital and acquired heart disease. We achieve this goal through the expertise of our internationally known faculty combined with the facilities and resources of the University of Michigan Health System. We strive always to deliver highly competent, skilled, and knowledgeable health care services guided by respect for our patients and families.
The University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center is an integrated medical, surgical, nursing, and administrative program within the University of Michigan Health System. Located in C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, the Center offers state of the art diagnostic and treatment facilities. As an international referral center for children with complex congenital heart problems, approximately 850 heart operations and 600 heart catheterizations are performed here each year.
