C. S. Mott Children's Hospital
Our Facilities
Location, location, location. It’s true for housing – and it’s just as true for medical care.
When you come to the Michigan Congenital Heart Center, you get the expertise of our Center physicians and staff. You also get all of the resources we have behind us: C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, ranked #5 by Child magazine – and the University of Michigan Health System, named by U.S. News as one of America’s Best Hospitals.
You get compassion – and you get hope. If your child is overwhelmed by the hospital, she’ll probably visit the Child Life Center where she’ll feel free to be a kid again. If you’re an adult with congenital heart disease, you’ll be treated with the knowledge and respect your individual needs require. If your newborn needs emergency surgery, and you’re not in the area, he’ll be safe in the hands of Survival Flight until he gets here.
And it means that if you have to stay here awhile, we can bring you a touch of home. You can stay at the Ronald McDonald House – where 45 percent of the guests are families of cardiac patients. Or we can help bring your family together at the one of the reduced-price, low- or no-cost accommodations we have lined up for you.
Sometimes, we say we hope our patients never have to know how good our resources really are. Other times, we’re just happy about what we can offer them.
See our C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Patient & Visitor Guide for more information about the caring environment in which we provide expert cardiac care for our pediatric patients.
And check out the information about our future Women’s and Children’s Hospital Replacement Project, in which our great work will continue.
Michigan Congenital Heart Center is a good place to be.
