Children's Emergency Services
Children's Emergency Services is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for unscheduled critical care. Conditions range from common minor pediatric problems to major medical and traumatic emergencies. We are a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, a national center for Pediatric Emergency Medicine Research, and host to a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program.
Services include:
- Comprehensive pediatric emergency and urgent care
- Access to University of Michigan Pediatric specialists
- Access to a full range of U-M Hospital diagnostic (testing) services
Valet Parking is available FREE!
Parents or guardians bringing a child to UM Children's Emergency Services should enter at the University Hospital Emergency entrance and proceed to the Valet Station. Valet parking is free and provided as a service to our patients and their families. Upon entering the nursing staff at the front desk will direct you where to go.
