UMHS Clinical Research Web Portal

The University of Michigan Health System has
recently launched a new web portal for patients and their physicians to obtain information on clinical research participation. This web-based initiative, known as 'engage' is a central place where people can find active recruiting clinical studies, information about participating in clinical research and eventually have the ability to register for studies.
 


The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), through its National Library of Medicine (NLM), in collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), developed ClinicalTrials.gov to provide patients, family members, health professionals, and members of the public access to information on clinical research studies. ClinicalTrials.gov offers up-to-date information for locating federally and privately supported clinical trials for a wide range of diseases and conditions.
