Larry and Dr. Hirschl
An extraordinary bond.
Before Larry was born, doctors gave him a ten percent chance of survival. He was facing numerous challenges from Myelocystocele - the most serious form of Spina bifida - to Cloacal exstrophy and club feet. Over the last 10 years, Larry has been to the operating room over 80 times for various surgeries. Dr. Hirschl has been with Larry since the beginning. He has been the family's champion and advocate on many levels - inside and out of the hospital. There is an extraordinary bond between them.
