When a routine ultrasound revealed that her unborn baby had a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and probably wouldn't live, Melanie turned to U-M for help. The doctors at the U-M Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Center developed a special protocol for her baby and today Jadon is an energetic 11 month old with a smile on his face.
