Heart of a Hero.
Doctors in Henry's home town of Grand Rapids learned something was wrong with his heart before he was even born. They referred his mom to one of the nation’s top congenital heart programs here at U-M C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. In true "Conquering Hero" style, Henry has already conquered two out of the three procedures needed to correct the transposition of his two major arteries. And because Mott is one of the nation's largest and most experienced congenital heart programs, his family has had no shortage of other families to support them and share experiences. They've even become friends with another family from their hometown who has a son the same age as Henry.
