MGPRC Annual Retreat
Saturday, January 25, 2014

On the heals of our successful and popular meeting this past January, the Michigan Gastrointestinal Peptide Research Center once again invites you to participate in its annual retreat on the 4th floor in the Palmer Commons facility, which is located on the University of Michigan central campus on Palmer Drive Development at 100 Washtenaw Avenue, on Saturday, January 25, 2014.

Our distinguished keynote speaker will be Ramnik Joseph Xavier, M.D., Ph.D. a Kurt Isselbacher Associate Professor of Medicine, Chief, Gastrointestinal Unit and Director, Center for the Study of Inflammatory Bowel Disease from Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. The title of Dr. Xavier’s presentation is be forthcoming.

Additionally, speakers will also be forthcoming.

All currently funded Peptide Center pilot project investigators are required to present a poster at this meeting.  If you are not funded through the Center but have a research poster that you would like to present at the retreat you are kindly encouraged and gratefully welcomed to do so.  Last year we had over 35 excellent poster presentations and we have room for a lot more.

If you would like to present a poster at this year’s retreat, please notify Pam Varga by email ( or phone 647-2942 on or before January 20, 2014.  It would be helpful if you had the title of your poster at that time.

I will be sending you more information regarding the details of the retreat in the coming weeks.
