Michelle Wynn, a PhD candidate in the lab has been awarded a James S. McDonnell Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship (JSMF). As a McDonnell Fellow, Michelle plans to build predictive models of breast cancer that incorporate the non-linear, emergent, and adaptive behavior inherent to a tumor.

In Winter 2013, Professor Merajver will once again teach the popular course entitled "Global Health for the 21st Century: Thought, Conscience, and Action" (UC254-05) which is part of the Michigan International Seminars for Undergraduates. This is an exciting, interactive course that prepares you to be an active participant in global health, as part of any career. Spaces are limited so, if interested, please register early.

Two Meravjer Lab members were recognized at the Annual AACR meeting held in Chicago, IL March 31 - April 4, 2012. Both Michelle Wynn and Connie Shi received recognition for presenting abstracts that scored in the top 2.5% of all submitted abstracts.
