Scopus
Scopus includes content from EMBASE, which provides unique drug-related literature not found in MEDLINE. So, both databases cover the drug literature and there is overlap between them; however searching both databases is recommended for a more thorough search of the drug literature.  A limitation of Scopus is the poor indexing; searches must rely on keyword searching.  Those needing more advanced EMBASE searches may contact hte Taubman Medical Library Reference Department for assistance with a search mediated by a medical librarian. (EMBASE is especially strong in coverage of the pharmacologic/toxicologic literature and this useful for researching herbs, medicinal plants and their extracts.)
