• Weekends that occur during a clerkship will be scheduled by the department.
• Most clerkships have overnight call.
• Scheduled vacations begin with the end of responsibilities on Sunday, and end with the beginning of responsibilities on Monday morning.
• Official holidays for medical students are Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday through Sunday), Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day. Because of the level of increased patient care responsibilities on subinternship experiences, the student's responsibilities may take precedence over holiday time. Students on subinternships must discuss any time off with the attending staff.


• Senior Year ends Friday, May 1, 2009.
• Graduation will be on Friday, May 8, 2009
• Comprehensive Clinical Assessment:  June 3 - 6 and June 9 - 11, 2008
Makeup dates:  August 6, 2008 and September 5, 2008
