| Sequence Description |
The overall objective of the Histopathology sequence is to consolidate student learning of General Pathology occurring throughout the M1 year, now with emphasis on morphologic aspects. A second objective is to reinforce clinical and pathophysiological correlations to provide insight into methods of clinical problem solving. A third general objective is to foster critical thinking in an environment of active learning. The sequence includes two hours of lecture and approximately five hours of laboratory for each of the following areas:
