Description of Help Desk Services
Help Desk staff in the main LRC Computer Lab are available
to assist patrons and report computer issues to during Help Desk
hours. Full-time consultants are available for advanced questions and support
during normal business hours (M - F, 8am – 5pm).
The Help Desk staff provides assistance to the medical
students and to lab patrons on a wide range of computing related topics including:
- Wireless Computing
- Lecture Videos
- CD/DVD Burning
- Kerberos (Level-1) Questions
- Outlook (Level-2) Questions
- Software Assistance
and a variety of other other topics. Just ask!
Items for Checkout
The Help Desk has a number of media and medical related
items for check out:
- Media Card Readers
- Ethernet Cables
- Firewire Cables
- USB 3.5" Floppy Drive
- USB 250MB Zip Drive
To checkout any item, you need a valid Mcard or
Your ID card will be retained until items are returned.
Most items will need to be returned by the time the Help Desk closes for

Lost and Found
Items found in the Medical School Computer labs will
be brought to the LRC Help Desk. Items found will be held till the end of
the semester before being disposed of or donated.
