ACLeration Program

MedSport’s ACLeration Program is designed specifically for patients who need to fill the gap between formal physical therapy and returning to competition after ACL reconstructive surgery.
About ACLeration:
-
An eight-week program consisting of six weeks of MedSport’s iMpact training *(three sessions per week), followed by two weeks of agility training (two sessions per week). All sessions are one-on-one and lead by a certified athletic trainer or physical therapist.
-
The program focuses on general strengthening, jumping and landing, speed drills, agility/plyometric training, sport specific skills, and proprioceptive exercises. Proper biomechanics will be emphasized with all exercises.
-
All sessions are personalized to meet the needs of the athlete and skills required for each particular sport or activity.
-
This program is designed to begin when the athlete has been cleared to begin jogging and has documentation signed by a physician to begin MedSport’s iMpact Program.
-
Pre- and post-testing on leg press and vertical jump will be completed to evaluate individual progress of each patient/athlete.
* For those who have already completed the iMpact Program, we offer an advanced four week session which meets three times per week for two weeks, then twice per week for two weeks.
