Current research topics include:

All members of the U-M Shoulder Group are actively engaged in both basic science research and clinical research concerning the shoulder in order to better understand the complexities of this special joint.

Patient Care

A primary focus of the University of Michigan Shoulder Group is caring for patients with shoulder disorders. This care is provided by physicians from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the MedSport division of Sports Medicine, with a special interest and training in shoulder disorders.

An outstanding physical therapy team, specially trained in shoulder exercise and rehabilitation is available to aid in the treatment of even complex injuries. State of the art imaging facilities are conveniently available.
