About Us
The MedSport mission
To provide complete, sports medicine services for orthopaedic-related injuries and conditions.
To promote research and educational opportunities in sports medicine for our staff and students using a team approach that incorporates physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists and certified athletic trainers – throughout the continuum of your care.
A facility second to none
MedSport is housed in a 45,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, which regionally compares to none. It includes:
- An orthopaedic suite with 15 exam and patient education rooms
- Extensive physical therapy treatment space
- Athletic Performance Center
- Therapeutic Pool for the aquatics program
- On-site digital X-ray
- Casting, bracing and foot orthoses services
- Sport Injury Prevention Center/Orthopaedic Research Lab

Our certified athletic trainers are contracted to 14 area high schools and universities and to the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.
Our physicians are team physicians for the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University and USA Hockey.
