Students attending foreign medical schools are generally not accepted. For a determination of eligibility, international students should contact Kate Durand, (kdurand@umich.edu), at the Global Reach Office. International students whose credentials have not been screened for eligibility by the Global Reach Office will NOT be accepted.
Students may complete a maximum of two months of clerkships. Electives are not available to visiting students during May and June. Only the electives listed on this Web site are available to visiting students. Research electives are not allowed.
Under no circumstances shall a potential visiting student make independent arrangements with a faculty member for an elective prior to submitting an application to the Office of Student Programs.
