The Biological Sciences Scholars Program Search Committee (BSSP) mission is to facilitate the recruitment of highly competitive junior faculty scholars in key areas of biomedical investigation across multiple departments and schools. The Program goal is to develop a new generation of leaders in biomedical research at the University of Michigan. This Committee reviews applications for BSSP qualifications, coordinates with recruiting departments, meets with candidates, and reviews interview evaluations to determine whether or not a candidate should be given a BSSP offer.
