The Office of Research sponsored multiple grand prizes for research faculty and staff, with winners including... $2,000 toward professional travel...Justine Pinskey In addition to the lucky grand prize winners, a "Spirit Award" was presented to the participating organization whose display was the most friendly and creative, and offered the clearest information about the service they provide researchers. While Pediatric Research Office and MICHR received honorable mentions, it was the team from the Laboratory for Physical Activity & Exercise Intervention Research who took home the trophy and top honors. Blessed with fine late-summer weather and huge turnout, Researchpalooza 2012 will go down in the record books as a fun event where colleagues and friends met, mingled, and learned more about many of the organizations that offer their services to research faculty and staff of the U-M Medical School.
