Student Research: Research Abstract Guidelines

  1. Download the Summer Research abstract MS Word document, save it to your local disk, open the document in MS Word, and enter your abstract within the text box.  The font should be  Times New Roman, the size should be 11 point (pt).  See sample abstract.

    Very Important: Your abstract will not be accepted if you modify the box in any way; therefore, please type within the boundaries only!

  2. After typing the abstract in the Word document, e-mail the document as an attachment file to osbrp@umich.edu.  Then submit another hard copy that has been signed by your mentor to Denise Brennan (SBRP students) or Charmise Knox (UROP students), making sure you complete the bottom portion of the page in its entirety.
