Health Care
The pursuit of medicine can be stressful at times. That is why the University of Michigan's Medical community emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balanced life between academic studies and personal well-being. As a top ten medical school, our students have access to superior health care resources. For example, the Medical School Well-Being Program was established in 1996 to help students cope with stress. There is also a Student Well-being room in the Furstenberg Student Study Center where students can meet and attend various programs. The Dental school offers complete dental checkups to students at a low discounted fee, and the University Health Service offers comprehensive outpatient services to students.
