The University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) prides itself on a robust and systematic approach to curriculum evaluation. With multiple, defined data points across four academic years and the utilization of mixed research methods, UMMS is able to conduct a thorough analysis of curricular processes and outcomes thereby informing standardization, innovation, and longitudinal learning.
The Curriculum Evaluation unit is responsible for managing the University of Michigan Medical School course and teaching evaluation system, and providing expertise and administrative support relative to data management, statistical analysis, and research methods used by medical school leadership, faculty, students, and staff engaged in curricular decision-making and medical education research.
