The criteria for faculty membership includes:

  • Full time appointment at the University of Michigan
  • Record of publication in the area of Organogenesis
  • Established funding base
  • Willingness to participate in the committee activities of the Center.

With the selection of members, an attempt will be made to balance two opposing forces: the need to keep a clear focus and manageable size, and the desire to include as broad a research base as possible. Thus, two types of membership are offered: full and affiliate.

Full membership will include individuals whose research is most closely aligned with the goals of the Center and who are willing to actively participate in Center activities and committees.

Affiliate membership status will be given to individuals whose work is more peripherally related to Organogenesis, or who do not wish to become actively involved in the Center at the present time. Affiliate members can participate in all Center activities and can serve on committees if they so desire.
