Match Day 2010
Thursday, March 18, 2010
With the emotional intensity of the Oscars, the youthful yearnings of the college draft, and the culmination of four years of motivation and training that only medical students can truly imagine, students in the University of Michigan Medical School gather to take part in the National Resident Matching Program.
One-by-one, each will receive the random call to the front of the room, receive a sealed envelope, and open it to learn which residency program has selected them for training upon graduation. Approximately 24,000 students participate in the National Resident Matching Program.
The match day festivities are open to M4 students (+ 1 guest), faculty and staff.
