Grant Review & Analysis Office

Welcome to the Medical School's Grants Office. We are charged with the review of all proposals and material transfers with external funding/provider sources. Our office receives any proposals that involve Medical School faculty or space for compliance review with school, university, and sponsor guidelines - whether primarily held in the Medical School or outside campus units. We have signature authority on behalf of the Dean of the Medical School for these types of issues.

There are many things that may help you prepare and route your proposal. We have tried to include information that may be most helpful. If there are additional topics that you would like to have available, please contact us at the email addresses or phone numbers under Office Staff.

We also are responsible for answering all questions related to proposal submission and funding. If you have questions on content of proposals, appropriateness of costs, current indirect (or Facility & Administrative) costs, or data based on award submissions and receipts, please contact us.

Finally, our office provides data for sections of the MDash and M-Stat systems. Information comes from both proposals submitted and from the NIH directly. Questions on data content can be directed to Heather Offhaus.
