U-M Faculty Activities

Thanks in large part to the activities of our more than 1500 faculty members, the University of Michigan Medical School has an outstanding reputation both nationally and internationally. Faculty regularly participate in international research, educational exchanges, health care provision, and consulting activities.

Since 2001, Global REACH has been surveying faculty on their international activities. Hundreds have responded. UMMS faculty do research, provide health care provision, assist in educating students, and continue their own educations on six continents and throughout all parts of the world. Results from this ongoing survey are regularly tabulated.
