Research, Education and Collaboration in Health


Welcome to Global REACH! Global REACH (Global Research, Education And Collaboration in Health) is an initiative of the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS). Our mission is to facilitate health research, education, and collaboration among the University of Michigan Medical School faculty, students, and our global partners for the benefit of patients worldwide.

Global REACH aims to:

  • Facilitate international exchanges among students, residents, fellows, and staff
  • Promote and facilitate international research efforts, especially those associated with medical education
  • Initiate and foster international collaborations

Who do we serve?

Global REACH provides services for University of Michigan medical students, University of Michigan faculty members, and international dignitaries, faculty, staff and students interested in visiting the University of Michigan Medical School.

Global REACH does not handle admissions to the medical school. For information regarding admissions to the medical school, please contact the University of Michigan Medical School Admissions Office.
