Swine flu update for UMHS
In response to the swine flu epidemic, the U-M Health System has launched two new Web pages to help inform the U-M community and the general public, including patients and their families, about swine flu developments related to U-M and UMHS. New information and guidance are being added to both of these sites as they become available. The internal site, www.med.umich.edu/u/flu, includes information and links aimed at UMHS faculty and staff in patient care areas and other information that can be used by all members of the U-M community. This site can only be accessed by U-M computers and computers that have a "virtual private network" connection to the U-M network.
The public (external,) site, www.med.umich.edu/flu, contains information for our patients and their families and visitors, and for the general public and news media. A link to this site will be available from the UMHS public home page, www.med.umich.edu, for the duration of the current outbreak. Main campus has also launched a public Web site, www.umich.edu/flu-swine.php.
