Funds for Lymphoma Research available
The U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center is pleased to announce the availability of funds to support lymphoma research proposals. Fundamental studies with emphasis on novel concepts and mechanisms and translational studies with emphasis on translation of concepts developed in the applicant's research program will be considered.

Applications are limited to one year of support, with a budget of up to $50,000 that can be used for personnel, supplies, small equipment purchase, or other reasonable costs such as animal purchase and maintenance or core laboratory usage. For more information, visit the Web site.

Register Now/Earn CME Credits – Biomedical Research Symposium on 'Image-Guided Therapy'
Extended Registration Deadline: Thursday, Nov. 6 (Extended from Oct. 22)
A symposium on image-guided therapy will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the Biomedical Science Research Building Auditorium. It will focus on advances that integrate imaging into various therapeutic procedures. Participants will learn about new research findings in the imaging sciences, molecular imaging, and clinical systems for image-guided therapy. Internationally recognized experts will address these topics and describe the challenges and opportunities that lie in cross-disciplinary research and clinical developments. Researchers at U-M will present their work at a poster session. This event is free, and CME credit is available. To register, visit the Web site. Sheldon Glass Award for Leukemia Research
Application Deadline:Thursday, Dec. 4
The Division of Hematology/Oncology is pleased to announce the annual Sheldon Glass Award to support leukemia research proposals. Both fundamental studies and translational studies will be considered. Applications are limited to one year of support, with a budget of up to $35,000 that can be used for personnel, supplies, small equipment purchase, or other reasonable costs (e.g., animal purchase and maintenance or core laboratory usage).
