Postdoctoral Programs
The University of Michigan Medical School’s postdoctoral program consists of scholars from all of the basic science and clinical departments. Individual U-M Med School faculty and faculty laboratories usually recruit and appoint postdoctoral fellows directly. The Program in Biomedical Sciences serves as a home base for postdocs, providing on-going career development opportunities and a sense of community.
The University of Michigan Postdoctoral Association represents Medical School postdoctoral fellows. U-M PDA bridges the training gap between the laboratory and the changing culture of biomedical science, augments the professional development provided by faculty mentors and is a forum to identify and address specific needs.
