College Students

Through our programs for college students, we set the groundwork for success. We provide the kind of coaching that helps students realize their potential. .. and gives them the tools and resources to make great things happen.

Summer Opportunities for Apprenticeships in Research (MedSOAR)

Highly motivated college and high school students can earn while they learn and explore a career in medicine and/or biomedical sciences. Students work in either a research lab or a clinic to experience biomedical science first hand. While high school students are encouraged to apply, undergraduate students receive priority placement. Students must have previously participated in a U-M Medical School Diversity & Career Development program.

Pre-health Academic & Career Advising

Year-round, we provide pre-health academic and career advising and coaching to undergraduate students. We collaborate with other U-M programs across campus such as the U-M Career Center and the U-M College of Literature, Science and the Arts Advising Center to make sure that students get the most out of their college experiences in order to meet their goals.
