Medical students today have more opportunity than ever before to positively impact global health. Participating in a global health project is no longer just an experience; it is a vital part of your journey to becoming a better doctor. You truly have a voice in sharing input and ideas about how to improve or expand these efforts, so be sure to speak up!

As part of the med school, Global REACH (Research, Education and Collaboration in Health) facilitates health research, education, and collaboration among the University of Michigan Medical School faculty, students and global partners to benefit communities worldwide.

In addition, med students can access the University of Michigan Center for Global Health, which promotes global health equity through research, training and service activities around the world.
