11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Cap and gown pick up in the Office of Student Programs – C5124 Medical Science Building I (734-764-0219).

If you would like someone else to pick up your gown for you, please send a note with this person confirming that they may pick up your attire. Gowns and Hoods are to be turned in after the graduation ceremony at Hill.

MCAS Luncheon: Luncheon put on by the Medical Center Alumni Society for Medical School Graduates and their guests (3 guests per student). Invitations for luncheon will be sent to student by MCAS after Match Day. RSVP required.

Medical School Commencement (unlimited seating – no tickets required)
Place: Hill Auditorium

Time: 3:00 p.m. (Doors open to the public @ 2:15 p.m. – seating on a first come first serve basis). If someone in your party is in need of special accommodations, please contact Paula in the Office of Student Programs before May 2nd to make arrangements (734-763-7981).

Free parking will be available for graduates and guests after 1:00 p.m. at the Palmer, Thayer and Fletcher structures (Parking Structure Map).

Please note: Graduates should be at Hill Auditorium @ 2:00 p.m. on May 9th to robe and begin lining up for the Commencement Ceremony. Please use the East entrance of Hill and go up one flight (look for signs telling you where to go). Students will fill out a card for the photographer, pick up name pronunciation card and honor cords, robe and line up alphabetically.

DEAN’S RECEPTION: Immediately following Commencement Ceremony. Open to ALL Graduates and their guests. No RSVP Required.
