Curriculum: Facilities

UMHSThe University of Michigan Medical School is a special kind of public institution with a national perspective and an international mission. Patients come to the University of Michigan Health System from all over the world for treatment. Clinicians and scientists practice leading health care and conduct breakthrough biomedical research with state-of-the-art equipment, enhancing our reputation as a premium healthcare institution.

Medical students have full access to the Medical School campus and greater Health System, in addition to all of the top-ranked schools throughout the rest of the University. You can choose to take electives or even pursue a dual degree at one of the other leading graduate schools, like public health, law and business.

One exciting aspect of studying medicine at a large institution like Michigan is that there is always something new in development, under construction or recently opened when it comes to facilities. The medical campus is undergoing major transformations to accommodate the current and future needs of medical care, education and research within the Health System.
