Career Pathways
Medical school is a process. From your very first day at Michigan, we do everything we can to facilitate your ability to learn, evaluate and decide on a career path about which you will be passionate.
By the time you enter your fourth year and prepare to apply to residencies, you will have been exposed to more than 16 different specialties, interacted with patients in a significant role, absorbed and retained essential knowledge, and formed lifelong bonds with colleagues and mentors.
In other words, you will have had every opportunity to make the best choices possible for your future.
