Department faculty enthusiastically support Graduate Medical Education at the University of Michigan. Overseen by Stanley J. Hamstra, Ph.D., the scope of involvement includes:
- Coordinating curricular research and innovations for all residency programs
- Reporting results of curricular research to the Graduate Medical Education Review Board
- Helping residency programs to develop tools for assessing competencies
- Developing programs and educational initiatives that will enhance the quality of residency programs at the University of Michigan
