Graduate Medical Education Scholars Program Application
Annually, the GME Scholars Program will accept 15-20 house officers into each of the tracks. Interested house officers must complete an application, which includes a letter of support from their Program Director. House officers must be a resident/fellow in good standing as determined by their Program Director. Admission to the program will be based on the letter of recommendation from the Program Director, as well as the applicant's personal statement, and curriculum vitae.
Applications will be accepted September through December and are due by/on December 1st. Applicants will be notified by January 15th.
House Officers interested in the program should submit:
- Application Form
- Personal statement
Include statement and description of:- Long term career goals
- Personal goals for participation in the GME Scholars Program
- Description of an educational (Medical Education Track) or administrative (Healthcare Administrative Track) project, or issue that you would like to work on or address during the scholars program
- Letter of recommendation from your Program Director
- Curriculum Vitae
NOTE: The personal statement should be no longer than one (1) page, single spaced. Please use 12 point, Times New Roman font.
