Graduate Medical Education Scholars Program (GMESP):
Healthcare Administration & Medical Education

Program Overview

The GME Scholars Program consists of 2 tracks, one in Medical Education and one in Healthcare Administration. Each of these Tracks will provide participants with a 20-month fellowship-like (longitudinal) training experience. Graduates of the GME Scholars Program will have developed a strong foundation which will position them to assume, and succeed in, junior level faculty positions in the area of healthcare administration or medical education at leading academic medical centers immediately following residency or fellowship training. The programs are designed to provide house officers with the knowledge base and skill set that will be required for them to become successful as the next generation of physician leaders in their respective areas.
