Welcome to the
Department of Medical Education
Since we began in 1927, the Department of Medical Education has grown from a primary focus on continuing medical education to an academic department with international recognition for medical education research and development.
Our department supports the Medical School’s educational mission through several programs, such as the Medical Education Scholars Program, Medical Education Day and the Medical Education Newsletter.
Our faculty participate in a wide range of medical education projects
throughout the University of Michigan Medical School and with external
organizations. We offer many excellent courses and programs related
to professional education and research.
