Evaluation and treatment for a movement disorder can seem complex. Our goal at the Movement Disorder Program at the University of Michigan is to help you to understand not only the nature of your disorder but also the steps that will be taken to help you understand it. We encourage you to utilize the resources of our program to meet your clinical and educational needs. Here, we have gathered information about two components of Movement Disorder therapy.
Conditions Treated: We provide information about the causes and treatment of a large number of movement disorders. This information is a good start for a plan of care. We are happy to answer further questions.
Outreach and Support: Living with a movement disorder involves much more than appointments and therapies. We describe our expanding programs for the outreach and support of our patients.
