Patient Transportation Services Manager: Debra Cobb
| Patient escort services are provided through this area to and from diagnostic and therapeutic appointments. Service requests are coordinated through computerized central dispatch hubs on the B-1 Level of University Hospital in Physical Medicine and in Radiology. Communication with transport personnel is via two-way radios. Annually, 270,000 patient transports are completed. |

When possible, please make requests 48 hours in advance. |

| Requests for transport of deceased patient to the morgue are made after completion of post mortem care by calling 6-4610 (excluding Emergency department, Radiation Oncology, MPU, OR and PACU's). Please make every effort not to detain transporters who are picking up morgue patients. Two transporters are dispatched for each morgue transport, one retrieves the patient from the unit and one holds the elevator to expedite transport to the morgue.

| Beds, Wheelchairs, Mattresses or Stretchers |
Call 6-4610 to have beds, wheelchairs, mattresses or stretchers delivered. Each unit has a par level of items. All other equipment will be stored and distributed centrally. Equipment will also be stage in diagnostic areas (MPU, adult and Mott catheterization labs, PACU, MCHC, EP lab, Radiology, and outpatient recovery.
