Materiel Services

Information Systems (Infosys)

Information Systems provides Materiel Services with the Business Systems support necessary to run a department of this size. We are responsible for providing Tier I support (24/7, 365 days) for all

-Applications and upgrades

-Access databases

-Training

-Testing

-Business Process documentation and redesign by ensuring proper business process is in place maximizing use of the supporting application.

-User access to UH network and applications

-Ensure users are educated on proper use of UH systems

We support and maintain the following systems and applications:

-GroupWise/Outlook

-Patient Equipment – MEMS – Medical Equipment Management System

-Wireless networking – UH networking

-Patient Transportation – Transport Tracking XT

-MPathways Inventory System – for both Materiel Services and Laundry Services, including CG4 Handheld application (ITS)

-Access Databases – CSS Pricing Database, Materiel Services Catalog, Departmental Human Resource Database, Balanced Score Card database, Specialty Carts Database, Digital Library etc..
