The Concentration In Medical And
Professional Education is a collaboration between the Medical School
and the School of Education at the University of Michigan (UM).
Courses offered through both schools meet requirements for a Master’s
Degree in Education from the UM School of Education, and provide
learners choosing this concentration with additional training that
has breadth across educational disciplines, and depth within medical
and professional education.
Information in this website will give you an idea
about whether this program is right for you. Admission is through
the UM School of Education’s Center for the Study of Higher
and Postsecondary Education, and there is a direct link there under
the Admissions tab. To consider whether this program will meet your
needs and interests, click on the Potential Students tab. Click
on the Courses tab for descriptions of the courses that comprise
the concentration, and the Faculty tab to view brief biographies
of the faculty who teach the courses. The Requirements tab provides
complete information on all of the requirements for the Master’s
degree with a concentration in medical and professional education.
