Plastination

The Plastination lab provides specimens to medical, dental, and graduate anatomy courses. Plastinated specimens have the unique feature of being durable, odorless, and permanently preserved. Students handle these specimens and have the opportunity of understanding essential anatomical concepts.

The educational impact of plastinated specimens is regularly assessed through questionnaires. It has been proven that these specimens make a significant adjunct to dissection, and are valuable in enhancing comprehension of anatomical concepts.
