Learning Outcomes

In December 2000 members of the University of Michigan Medical school faculty began a process of identifying intended learning outcomes for an educational program that enhanced learning within the structure of the curriculum and to support lifelong learning.  Over 70 learning outcomes spanning the domains of knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors were identified. These outcomes guided the efforts to create a new curriculum infrastructure.  The new medical school curriculum was implemented in 2003-2004.
