Guiding Principles

In November 2000 the Dean formed the Curriculum Review Group, a group of University of Michigan medical school faculty assigned to review the curriculum and to make specific recommendations for changes.  This group created the “Guiding Principles for Curriculum Revision”.  These principles were used throughout the curriculum revision process to assist in structuring a new curriculum.  The new medical school curriculum was implemented in 2003-2004.
