Miniseries on Applied ECG

General Instructions

1) For use on a computer in the UM Hospital student study areas (click here for locations), LRC Computer Cluster, or the CAI Lab, go to step 3.

Note: we have submitted a request to make this program available on all University of Michigan Health Center computers that are available to students. This request was submitted on August 10, 2001. I will let keep you posted on the status of this request (Chris Chapman -- chapmanc@umich.edu)

2) For other users you will need the following:
RAM: 16-32 meg of RAM (depending upon your system).
CPU: Mac or PC-compatible (UNIX not supported).
BROWSER: Netscape Navigator 4.x is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED although the following may work: Netscape Navigator 2.02 or above (final versions only), Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or above (final versions only), or American Online 3.0 or above. Click here to go to the Netscape Download Page.
PLUG-IN: Authorware Web Player.Click on the text to the right to go to the download site. Click here to get the WEB PLAYER for AUTHORWARE.

3) SECURITY: When launching an EKG problem set you will be asked if you "want to trust this file?" Answer YES. If you do not answer YES you will not be able to run the program. Answering YES allows us to track your answers.

4) PC users: click on Miniseries on Applied ECG to begin.

5) Mac users: there are problems with using this program on the Mac. You will have to go to each case directly by using the following URLs:

Make sure you "Quit RunA7M" from the "RunA7M" pulldown menu at the top left of the screen. Don't use the case menu button. Quit each case when you are done and go to the case with the url.
