1.
Review the bony landmarks.
|
||||
2
Dissect the dorsum of the foot.
|
||||
3.
Remove the skin and subcutaneous tissue from the plantar foot.
|
||||
4. Identify
and dissect the medial, lateral and central compartments of the foot,
identifying fascia, ligaments, muscles, vessels and nerves.
|
||||
5.
Dissect the adductor-interosseous compartment of the foot, identifying
fascia, ligaments, muscles, vessels and nerves.
|
||||
6. Open
the ankle by removing the anterior and posterior capsules.
|
||||
7.
Remove the overlying tissue and clean the ligaments of the plantar surface of
the foot.
|
