For best viewing of this site, use Microsoft Internet Explorer. The site was designed to meet the requirements of both Internet Explorer and Netscape, but we have found that IE is more dependable in displaying things the way they were meant to be seen.
You will need to enable javascript in your browser in order to view certain page elements and controls.
For the videos, it is best to use Quicktime, rather than Microsoft Media Player.
Working with the University of Michigan, the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center has developed a Volume Browser that enables the user to explore the Visible Human Female dataset. Please visit the PSC-VB site to learn more about the browser. To download a copy for Mac OS X, please visit the download site. This software requires a relatively fast connection to the internet in order to function properly.
