There is an additional learning module for the autonomic nervous system, developed by that dynamic duo Brevis and Butthead, entitled "Autonomic NS". It should help you through this difficult area.

There are two Anatomy Jeopardy games to play that are both fun and educational: Cardiovascular/Respiratory Jeopardy and Autonomic Jeopardy. These are the perfect way to spend your Saturday nights. Also, be sure to review the Radiology Learning Module that covers radiology of the thorax.

(08/26/09) In the Cells and Tissues sequence, we will study the Superficial Back, Deep Back and Spinal Cord, and Pectoral Region and Breast in lab, and Learning Modules entitled "Anatomical Orientation", "Introduction to the Nervous System", and "Spinal Cord and Spinal Nerve".

(04/14/09) Welcome Class of 2013. This summer, we are working on several new projects designed to help you learn gross anatomy. We are refining the prelab learning modules for each dissection lab, as well as the radiology learning modules for each sequence.

Visit the virtual tour of the Anatomy facilities to become familiar with our area. Review the Introduction to Gross Anatomy to learn how we approach gross anatomy instruction here at the University of Michigan Medical School.

We will have an Introduction to Gross Anatomy on Monday, August 24, at 1pm. Here, we will discuss the emotions and ethics involved in anatomical donation and human dissection, and you will be introduced to your lab partners, with whom you will be working for the succeeding eight months.

Before our first lab session on September 1, please review the web materials for Superficial Back. Also, review the Learning Modules entitled "Anatomical Orientation" and "Introduction to the Nervous System".
